Office Spaces: I miss having my own room

My current office practices a very open concept, no rooms except for the really BIG bosses. I’m pro open spaces but one thing I do miss from my old job is the fact that I had a room to myself and could close the door when I really needed to think.

What I miss the most about having my own room is that I could chat online, blog, or Facebook during office hours without worrying that the bosses might sneak up behind me, LOL!

Anyway, someone sent me this link on office spaces, 12 Ways to Pimp Your Office and I found a chair that I ABSOLUTELY love... NOW, I really wished I had my own room in the office.

The chair design is called a Bibliochaise and it’s made for you to sit AND display or keep books, manuals etc. I’m not sure if it’s comfortable as chair at all but I love the design element. Plus I think it’ll look damn cool in an office....

I WANT ONE!!! (Actually I want one of each: my own room AND the chair!)

Hi Natasha, I love my office. Having a room is really good and definitely helps with thinking.

Hi Natasha, If I were your boss I'll offer you a notebook or a similar electronic device as a bonus ... if your goals were acomplished, lol ! More and more companies are choosing open spaces but you can have a private room if you are working at the headquarters of a really big company ! Think about that ...
(ps : I am back on the 19th for a month)

seems to be very cloudy in France ... (just hope that a friend will find an appartment for my trip). Didn't know that Malaysian people were found of Bicycles tours, thought it was mainly soccer !
