Friday Finds, October 9

Here are some books I found over the past week that I'd like to share for this week's Friday Finds:

Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
I’ve read The Time Traveler’s Wife and The Three Incestuous Sisters sometime back from the same author and really can’t wait to read Her Fearful Symmetry. I might get this book over the weekend so that it can be my next Halloween read for October.

The Year of the Flood by Margarent Atwood
I found a review of this book from Book Nook Club and found the premise of the book quite interesting. I’ve never read any of Atwood’s work before though I have a couple of her books on my TBR pile and this one seems like an interesting read.

Friday Finds is a weekly event hosted by Should Be Reading.

I hope to buy Her Fearful Symmetry on the weekend. I have waited so patiently for it to come out.

I'm seeing these on a lot of blogs lately. Hope they're good books!

Those are two that I really want to read as well. Oh, definitely read Orx and Crake before you read The Year of the Flood since it is a sequel.

I hadn't read any Atwood books before I started blogging and I am now an addict. She is such a good author.

I have read one by Margaret Atwood and really want to read this one also. Her Fearful Symmetry is also on my TBR pile - I haven't had the opportunity to read any of her books though!

Atwood is amazing! My favorite book from her is Cat's Eye, though of course the most popular one is The Handmaid's Tale, which I loved too! You really should read them both!

I never knew Audrey Niffenegger wrote other books, I'll definitely look for these too!

Great finds! I too am looking forward to Her Fearful Symmetry. So rare that a second novel gets such accolades. I haven't even read Time Traveller's Wife yet but it's on my must-read list.

Also, I love Margaret Atwood - you should definitely try to pick up Alias Grace, Oryx and Crake, et.c... and of course, her classic Handmaid's Tale. Excited about this new book!
